Libation in Lisbon
Because of economic grants and the demands of the international market, many producers are blending with international varietals especially Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, and to a lesser extent, Chardonnay. One can surmise that for the majority of the wineries, their biggest concern was creating awareness for wines from Lisbon. Alorna.

California Cult Wine Release Schedule
Please put aside the fact that I've compiled this list because I'm a tool of the marketing gestalt that controls Napa Valley.) You'll notice that a number of wineries are listed throughout the year. This is because most wineries that release four or more wines do so at intervals. You aren't alone.

WINE TASTING GUY |
TUESDAY, MAY 20, 2008 Toast of the Town - NYC
Michaud also had a 2003 Chalone Syrah that I also really thought was great. A beautifully structured elegant & velvety Syrah with a WOW bouquet (elegantly put if I do say so myself). But I bring it up as it seems to be yet another marketing tool that many people are using to help their wines stand out from the crowd.
