Pinot Noir: Blind Tasting California, Oregon, and Burgundy
Have you tried a themed tasting? Just recently, I decided to ask the stores to create "themed" tastings, which is more similar to the MW program in which students are given 12 wines grouped into "themes" and asked what the wines are. So tonight we had one of our first themed tastings of three Pinot Noirs.

    Libation in Lisbon
From tastings at various trade shows, Portuguese wines often seemed to offer rich, concentrated flavor for a very reasonable price. The first wine we taste is a white wine made from the naturally acidic Arinto grape, with the aromatic Farnao Pires. The Riesling is delicious, very high in acidity with the signature taste of Petrol.
