EAST VILLAGE WINE GEEK | FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2006 Tasing Provence and The Loire First up was a rose form Provence. The producers name is Chateau Rouet and it was a blend of 60% granache and 40% syrah and had a beautiful pink color and a wacky curvaceous bottle. This rose was also not only from two of my favorite grapes but also from Provence; an area of France known for it's wonderful rose. Gal was torn. MORE >> -

The computer said one hundred percent granache but after tasting it there might some syrah and a little mouverde in there. You could pick them out and distinguish them from each other.
