WINE TASTING GUY | FRIDAY, JUNE 6, 2008 The FREE Murcia wine tasting event The events were set up by the same gentleman who set up the tasting I attended for Rioja wines (also at the Astor Center) about a month ago. Upon arriving I tasted a few of the wines and made modest notes. Overall I found the wines to be simple, artificial tasting and possibly over-oaked. Happy weekend Wine Tasting! MORE >> -
WINE TASTING GUY | MONDAY, MAY 5, 2008 NorCal day 2: Sonoma tried a Sangiovese, an Italian varietal that is not that common in NorCal and was the only one I tasted on this trip. Oh yeah, did I mention how beautiful the tasting room was. MORE >> -

Ahhhhh.bread. MORE >> -

Either way, while it was overwhelming, I tasted some very fine wines and met some very personable and charming winemakers (or winery proprietors). MORE >> -
