Tasting with friends: 12 Year Old Long Island wines with Lenn and company. Industry tasting : Terry Theise Grower Champagnes at the Michael Skurnik tasting. On this visit I was able to find wines from Uruguay, Macedonia, the foreign land of Long Island and a Sauvignon Blanc from India. Taste was again herbal, slate, asparagus and again just a hint of citrus notes. very short dry peppery finish and with a little tropical floral like taste. She had six wines shipped home. MORE >>
