BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | MONDAY, AUGUST 11, 2008 Corked Wine Update: I Can Do It! The cooked flesh tastes and feels something like a cross between tuna and Spanish mackerel. Smelling blind there would have been no way to tell that this was Sauvignon Blanc. A $42 lesson in smelling wine. Finally, I did it! Please feel free to send congratulatory notes and medals/trophies.
