FEBRUARY 16, 2009 [Jerusalem, Merlot] Jell-O
STARMONT Merryvale, 2006 Napa Merlot -$24 Popcorn. Jerusalem Artichoke. Is this a blend of the Merlot and the Charonnay? I was about to sit down and remember some of the wonderful, adventurous, lively and pensive and laughing and crazy and funny and charming and shy and extroverted maniac wines I had the other week at Angers when Fed Ex knocked at the door and broke my stride. I've been good natured about mostly neglecting to review unbidden samples.

OCTOBER 21, 2008 [Jerusalem, Merlot] Blending Wines.
Once again trusty Wine Tasting Guy told them that many Bordeaux (generally Right Bank) have a majority Merlot. I was in Jerusalem for the last day and made my way upon the holiday's completion from Jerusalem to a winery near Sederot. Has it only been a week? Time does fly when you are having fun, but I have been doing SO MUCH running around that I can't believe I have only been in Israel for 1 week so far (OK, 9 days). I have 6 days left, but I know that will fly.
