So yes - I need your help and your recommendations, if you're willing to share. The Cabernet Franc is my favorite, there is also the Cot (known elsewhere as Malbec), and the Cuvee Granit, a blend of Cabernet Franc and Merlot, I think. No merlot in this one, maybe some tannat. None of the bulkiness I associate with malbec. But I meant it to be helpful reference, not fun easy reading. Here are a few things that struck me during the tasting: If I had tasted blind, I would have guessed wrong on the grape varieties in many of these wines. Maybe a bit of both. MORE >> -

We also throw in a couple tools to help remember the good stuff. Malbec is our first wine and it comes from Argentina. All of these elements combine to make great malbec. And that is just what this is, a great malbec. know it's a bit cheesy but I just can't help it. Merlot makes wonderful wines. Cheers MORE >> -
