Forcing Myself to Drink New Wines
It wasn't rosé though, it was Grignolino d'Asti. I'm talking about the 2010 Montalbera Grignolino d'Asti Grignè. can see that when I drink this wine, and although I've not had even one other example of Grignolino, I'm not sure that I need to because this one is so very good. do not do this very often, and I need to do it more.

Grigolino: New ‘Geek Wine’ for Summer
The wine produced from the Grignolino vine is light, fresh, fruity and not very deep in color, refreshing but unsubstantial and decidedly to be drunk soon after the vintage. 2009 Francesco Rinaldi e Figli Grignolino d'Asti. 2008 Heitz Cellar Grignolino. minute later, he returns with a bottle and a smile. Do you know the Ruche Grape?
Beyond Ruche, they produce another eclectic varietal, Grignolino d'Asti, which is sort of like a New World fresh, fruity, Pinot Noir, meant to be drunk young and can easily pair with white fish (such as trout) with earthier elements (i.e. Grignolino d’Asti 2008. Chiara Ferraris. Now certain Manhattanites (you now who you are!)
