Nothing really here that would change my opinion of Finger Lakes Rieslings, but now know that I will be comfortable ordering European Reislings when traveling to areas where I cannot find my favorite Finger Lakes wines. We then tried the 2004 Sonoma county "tre'sor", a bordeaux blend containing all 5 varietals, 63% Cab, 16% Malbec, 11% Petit Verdot, 6% Cab Franc & 4% Merlot. Sangiovese is often a lighter red with greater acidity. -
