EAST VILLAGE WINE GEEK | WEDNESDAY, MAY 31, 2006 Fada! The grapes grown here are Grenache, syrah, mouverde and cinsaut. love this part of France and these are some of my favorite grapes. The Vacqueyras we had was a blend of Syrah mostly and grenache and surprisingly some gamay according to the owner. Upon my initial sip I could see why the Gamay was in there. MORE >> -
VIGNA UVA VINO | THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 13, 2008 CHAMARRE NOUVEAU UNCORKED AT AZZA LOUNGE It is one of the most popular wines in France, normally made from Gamay grapes and fermented for just a few weeks then officially released for sale on the third Wednesday of November.
