Made from Poulsard and Gamay, it is sweet, fruity, and funky all at the same time, and pleasantly bubbly. 2005 Clos Roche Blanche Touraine Cabernet Franc , $13. Just yummy. | | | | | | | | BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE SEPTEMBER 11, 2008 Jenny & François Fall Portfolio Tasting This, in my opinion, is the strongest part of the portfolio - the selections from southern France, country wines from the Rhône, Languedoc-Roussillan, and Provence. Such as, in no particular order: 1) 2005 Herv é Souhart VdP Le Souteronne (100% delicious Rhône Gamay). It used to be about $36, and I'm talking about a year ago. | |
