MAY 6, 2016 Valpolicella comes to NYC
Fabulous tutored wine lecture and wine tasting featuring the Wines of Valpolicella at the Doubletree Hotel on April 26. It was great to stop by the booths and see old friends — wineries I had visited at the #AmaroneAnteprima event earlier this year.

The meeting took place at an incredible Manhattan restaurant called TEISUI , designed to recreate the experience of a Japanese Ryokan* hotel in New York City. Scroll down for pictures). MORE >>

It was so great to have an elegant tasting lunch of wines from Ca’ Di Rajo featuring two of their top prosecco sparking wines, and also their new pinot grigio. Both Luca Ortoncelli, export manager, and Brian DiMarco of Barterhouse were present to introduce these best selling wines. I very much liked the Prosecco Superiore DOCG Millesimato Brut, which is selling by the glass at A Voce in the famous Time Warner Center … it has 5% RS and is great with salmon. MORE >>
