At Girl With A Fig. Deep blackberry color. Highly expressive dark fruit jam and fresh oak flavors but not overripe. On the palate it''s silky - full without being burdensome - with notes of ripe blackberry and tarragon. There''s none of that funk that can mark even the finest Bordeaux. some sort of combination of wet wood, Brett, and green veg. There''s definitely some sort of vegetable undertone here, but it comes across as perfectly and not overly ripe varietal Cab Sauv. MORE >>

From the Tejo region of Portugal, this delicious red wine is made with 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Castelao, fermented in stainless steel tanks and aged in French and American oak casks for 4 to 6 months. Dark ruby/purple colors with violet and earthy herbal aromas, concentrated flavors with red and dark fruits, vanilla, coffee, blueberries, spice, black pepper, and glycerine.
