New York City has the most top wine lists in the world according to a new ranking from the World of Fine Wine. London is second, San Francisco third, and Chicago fourth according to the British publication, which rolled out the annual awards for best wine lists for the first time this year.

"Climate. These are the three words Louis Lucas kept repeating in the course of our visit together. Though he is remarkably famous here on the West Coast having grown up the son of a third generation grape grower and at an early age tending the vineyards of many of the most famous houses, it is only in the last 48 hours I learned (partially through him) the history of the Santa Ynez Valley which according to Louis is only 45 years old.
