Dolcetto ripens early and makes a light, fruity wine, while Charbono is very late to ripen and makes wines of great substance. Medium bodied with aromas of ripe red berries, and a forest floor lushness. | VIGNA UVA VINO DECEMBER 8, 2008 Red Wine Blind Tasting Led by Greg Dal Piaz of Snooth, all the bottles' labels were covered and we sampled 4 flights of three each.
