have since tasted a Monthaven Chardonnay (California) and this past week the Silver Birch Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand). Definitely a good party wine. Released in May with a suggested retail of $24, but you can shop and find on-line for as low as $17. The Chardonnay was not impressive. MORE >>

This time of year there are a load of trade tastings, and even if like me, you only go to a few of them, you hear things.
