BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2007 Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas Les Ruchets have tasted a grand total of two Cornas wines, and the first was about four years ago and I don't remember the producer. It is about my experiences tasting this one wine, the 1999 Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas les Ruchets , $58 (but I bought mine on Wine Commune for $32). Pretty specific name for a post, right? BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2007 Sips and Vittles in Portland On Wednesday there was a Crozes Hermitage flight, a Portuguese red flight, a New- World Sauvignon Blanc flight, and a flight of local wines from the Willamette Valley. was excited to taste the last Pinot in the flight, the 2006 Ken Wright McCrone Vineyard Pinot Noir. Blind tasting 12 flights totaling 39 wines, 13 producers, and lots of discussion with a panel of articulate and experienced people. 2007 Chaptoutier Crozes- Hermitage Petite Ruche ($30) - great perfume, great fruit, oily texture that retains some energy.
