Old wine At which point the wine will be devoid of fruit flavors and will likely smell/ taste more like dried/stewed fruit, leather, earth, etc. wine I am not too familiar with but that I understand also requires many years of aging before "coming into its own" is Cote Rotie. Maybe given my "neophyte" status, I try to taste as many wines as possible and miss the point. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2007 Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas Les Ruchets have tasted a grand total of two Cornas wines, and the first was about four years ago and I don't remember the producer. It is about my experiences tasting this one wine, the 1999 Jean-Luc Colombo Cornas les Ruchets , $58 (but I bought mine on Wine Commune for $32). Pretty specific name for a post, right?
