SLAKED | MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 2009 20002 Quilceda Creek Columbia Valley Red Wine In light of today's release of the 2006 Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon I opened this 2002 second wine, first reviewed in the early days of the blog. This is simply a marvelous wine right now. Decanted for only 30 minutes, this is opaque, thick, chunky, unctuous, with chalky mixed berry notes and a big ripe raspberry liquor finish. MORE >> -
