This is a definite re-buy, although the price forces me to consider the occasion instead of just grabbing another and tucking it away, as I would if it were under $20. | | | | | | | | WINE TASTING GUY APRIL 30, 2008 Polaner tasting standouts began in a French table area and tried some Sancerres (made from Sauvignon Blanc), some white Burgundys (made from Chardonnay) and some white blends. Montlouis, like Vouvray, is a 100% Chenin Blanc appellation, producing mineral driven wines in dry, demi-sec or off dry, and vintage permitting, moelleux, or sweet wines. MORE >> -
BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2008 Dressner Portfolio Tasting Notes went for the Bubbles, the Beaujolais, the Cab Franc, and the Chenin Blanc. These are piercing wines of great definition, and they can seem like turtles, just their head visible underneath all of that shell. The Blanc de Blancs was opened as I was standing there and needed time to come together. MORE >> -
EAST VILLAGE WINE GEEK | FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8, 2006 Tasing Provence and The Loire So it was time to explore France via the east village.
