It was a nice Chardonnay and for the price ($28 suggested) a nice buy relative to some of the other $50+ Napa Chards. Chardonnay (that sells for about $70!) Havens had some really nice wine. The guests were then treated to The "C" by Castel 2006 Chardonnay. The evening started with a 2004 Sauvignon Blanc from the Binyamina winery. VIGNA UVA VINO | SATURDAY, MAY 24, 2008 Yarden Odem Chardonnay 2006 Organic Vineyard Israel This Chardonnay is a tasty wine from the Golan Heights in Israel. don't read Hebrew but I believe this wine is Kosher It is the color of pale gold and has an aroma of flowers, with a hint of banana. Pear and citrus with a bit of oak permeate the palate and leave me with a buttery finish of vanilla ice cream and spiced apples. MORE >>
