BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | SUNDAY, MARCH 7, 2010 Tidal Pool drank one of these bottles not too long ago and although the wine was very nice, it was nice as a good Chardonnay, not as Le Clos. They also reminded me of what Chablis is supposed to taste like - the fruit, the white flower, everything is infused with this seashell iodine character. paid up for the wrong vintage. MORE >> -

WHY WINE BLOG | THURSDAY, JUNE 10, 2010 Silver Birch Sauvignon Blanc 2009 3L have since tasted a Monthaven Chardonnay (California) and this past week the Silver Birch Sauvignon Blanc (New Zealand). Chablis Night Very tight aromatically, but there are hints of chalky rock and citrus fruit, and there is a definite oxidative character to the fruit. Perhaps its simply a matter of taste. We had a bunch of people over for dinner this weekend for Chablis night. Okay, that's not exactly what we did. But close. Lovely wine. was to me, a real knockout. MORE >>
