WINE TASTING GUY | SUNDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2008 Carmel's quality wine revolution Fabulous new packaging to go along with a wine that is a great deal at its price. The 2007 Carmel Ridge White, a blend of sauvignon blanc (50%), Chardonnay (20%), semillion (15%) & french Colombard (15%) had a hint of effervescence to go along with its crisp acidity & pink grapefruit characteristics. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | FRIDAY, MARCH 7, 2008 Friday Night Bubbles I've tasted and enjoyed their Brut Tradition wine before, a blend of about 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. So when I saw a few bottles at Prospect Wine Shop for $46, it felt like a deal and I grabbed one. The wine in this bottle spent 3 years on the lees and was disgorged in July of 2006, according the very helpful back label. MORE >> -
