BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 21, 2011 Learning Enough to Know That I Don't Know Anything. decided to open a bottle that isn't important to me, something that I would cull from my cellar. Look at my notes from Cellar Tracker and you'll see what I mean: 2/9/2008 : up there with the very finest Bourgogne i've ever had. Seems like a solid candidate for cellar-culling, no? This is an idea that I firmly believe in. MORE >> -
DR. VINO | WEDNESDAY, MAY 4, 2011 Parker on Bordeaux 2010: great but not *the greatest* The Liv-Ex blog provides his top scored wines. Kind of hard to believe. MORE >> -
DR. VINO | WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14, 2012 Steampunk wine opener, man’s cave, stars, wine bars – sipped & spit Henry Tang, a candidate to be wine-drenched Hong Kong’s next chief executive, may have seen his hopes hoisted on his (illegal) wine cellar. TASTEVIN: “A 100-point score for a young wine is just a cry for attention.” SPIT: Metrokane’s The Rabbit. SIPPED: reading. I’m 99+ points on that. LAT ]. Daily News ]. MORE >> -
BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | SUNDAY, AUGUST 14, 2011 Wine Pairings for Single Parents If you don't want to think too hard about this, simply open anything that has been scored at least a 94 by Robert Parker. Obviously I couldn't dig into my cellar at that time, but I merely thought about drinking the 1999 Lafarge Volnay 1er Cru Clos des Chênes , and honestly I felt a little better. good wine pairing can help.
