The Sancerre's of Gerard Boulay were generally very nice. Moving to the Rhone valley in France I tried some wines from Eric Texier. don't know. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, MAY 14, 2008 Mature López de Heredia Rosé for Spring There are Sancerre rosés made from Pinot Noir, also age worthy wines in the hands of either of the Cotat brothers, for example. the gorgeous rosé of Pinot D'Aunis by Eric Nicolas at Domaine de Bellivière in the nothern Loire Valley. Yes, Sancerre and Pouilly Fume produce highly regarded Sauvignon Blanc. Amazing dry and off-dry wines from famous ouvray and Savennieres, and upstart appellations such as Montlouis sur Loire, Anjou, Jasnieres, and Coteaux du Loir. MORE >>
