BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | THURSDAY, AUGUST 18, 2011 Dinner and the Wines of Cédric Bouchard As a whole, the wines showed fantastically well, just an excellent group of wines. Both were excellent wines, approachable in their youth, and both grew in depth over the course of their first hour open. The 09 might be more of a wine to drink young, and the 2008 seems to be a great candidate for the cellar. MORE >> -

But if this tasting is representative of the wines as a group, then perhaps Eric Asimov was right when he said after hearing about my theory, and I'm paraphrasing here, "Hmm, I don't think I agree. some do not. A WINE STORY | MONDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2010 Visit to Domaine de D’Arlot The French insurance group AXA bought the estate in 1987 and is the sole owner of the 33-acre vineyard with vineyards including Grand Cru Romanee St. Sylvain points out a cage for birds (they must have been chosen for color and beauty) and a potato cellar, as well as some alters carved into the rock that one can enter for a few feet.
