A WINE STORY | TUESDAY, JANUARY 17, 2012 First Languedoc-Roussillon Study & Certificate Program This is 50/30/20 Grenach, Syrach, Carignan from an area near Bezier, with black pepper and cinammon bark. This is a Syrah/Grenach blend with lots of garrigue, black and white pepper, and an intense minerality. Syrah Grenache once again, a deep intensity of stones, lots of concentration. I will try. -

They must contain a minimum of 50% Grenache to be called Banyuls (the fishing port south on the southern coast of Perpignan) or Maury (the hilly northern coast). It's not Port, it's French wine. Sounds good. -
