Big palate with considerable soft tannin, orange peel/citrus, bright on the finish with lingering. Hard to put my finger on. Tastes like lingering redcurrants. Beyond the Sauvignon Blanc which is also distinctive by its bottle (designed to capture the 1855 Bordeaux bottle with its deep punt), the winery makes excellent Cabernet Sauvignon and also Syrah.
