WINE TASTING GUY | WEDNESDAY, APRIL 30, 2008 Polaner tasting standouts began in a French table area and tried some Sancerres (made from Sauvignon Blanc), some white Burgundys (made from Chardonnay) and some white blends. We finally decided on a California Syrah. the other California Syrah option was brought out and proved to be a very fine wine. This past Wednesday I visited two wine bars.
