Some people brought in bottles from trips to wineries in New York and California, and others were looking to try something out on us before pouring it at Thanksgiving. Finally, we tried a “white muscat from the red stone,&# which sounded to me as if it will be the next Indiana Jones movie. It is an assignment! Good times!

Brooklyn Uncorked is the annual showcase of Long Island wine and food that you should make a point of attending if you live in or near New York City. Just look at Shinn or Wolffer, for example (although I have no idea whether or not Wolffer uses natural yeasts for their Cab Franc). These are just my personal thoughts, that's it.
