This is Leroy and it's supposed to be among the very best wines of Burgundy. From the iconic producer in Provence, this wine is a blend of about 47 different grapes. don't know. MORE >> -
BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | SUNDAY, MARCH 29, 2009 Brooklynguy's $20 and Under Case beautiful wine from the Côte de Provence, a blend of 85% Rolle (that's Vermentino to you Italo-philes) and 15% Ugni-Blanc (that's Trebbiano to you Italo-philes). If this wine were from someplace famous like Burgundy it would cost $50. Call me crazy, but I don't see us climbing out of this recession any time soon. Syrah, and Grenache. MORE >> -

BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2007 Catching up a Little Bit We had roast rack of lamb rubbed with coarse mustard and Herbs de Provence, sweet potato puree, and salad. We opened a special bottle of wine with our dinner last night, not because it was so expensive or rare, but because it was one of three bottles we brought back from our trip to Burgundy in November.
