ALICE FEIRING JULY 1, 2010 The Nuits Kid crashed a White Burgundy symposium and after a class act Russell Cooked dinner and a kick ass assortment of whites, including two Batards, (Gagnard 2001 Batard and a Leflaive) I slept peacefully, dare I say almost happily. found some petite sirah. WINE TASTING GUY MAY 5, 2008 NorCal day 2: Sonoma Their 2004 cabernet which is actually a Bordeaux blend of 76% Cabernet, 18% merlot, 4% Petit Verdot & 2% cab franc. Serious pretension. MORE >>	WINE TASTING GUY MARCH 25, 2008 Skurnik Tasting - my favorites (finally) The 2003 "1er Etage" Cab Franc was blended with 2% Petit Verdot and had very subtle green notes but was was nice as well. And their 2004 "Right Bank" Red, a blend of Cab Franc (53%), Merlot (30%), Petit Verdot (9%) & Cab Sauv (8%) was beautiful. then moved on the the Burgundies of Domaine Henri Jouan. Great stuff.
