BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 9, 2008 Five Nights of Oregon Pinot Noir - Part II Entry level wines cost less than $30, and Murto and the Estate Reserve cost in the mid $30s from the winery, about $40 at a store. think that there is a definite sense of place in this wine, as that Oregon blue fruit and piney earth is easily recognizable on the palate. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | SUNDAY, DECEMBER 10, 2006 Tasting at Domaine Paul Pernot The Domaine Paul Pernot was the largest producer we visited, although Pernot is middle sized by Burgundy standards. Who knows.maybe I just needed more experience with Burgundy, or maybe 2003 Bourgogne is just not going to be that impressive in general. Just lovely - I would pour this for any Burgundy lover.
