The two people behind the bar that helped out were also quite knowledgeable, and definitely NOT pretentious. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | MONDAY, MARCH 3, 2008 Three Loire 05's for the Cellar Loire-lovers have been touting 2005 as a great vintage, as good as 05 in Burgundy or Bordeaux. This wine is like a prizefighter in training - no sweet or fatty foods, lots of sleep, and definitely no sex, but this is just training. Inquire within or by phone: (212) 505-WINE This wine was definitely grown in a valley. Everyone knows about Bordeaux and most people are somewhat familiar with the pinot noirs of Burgundy.
