Polaner tasting standouts
Next to Texier was Domaine Franck Peillot from the Bugey region of France (a place I had never previously heard of). At a wholesale price of about $150/bottle the 2005 Gemstone Cabernet (blended with 6% Petit Verdot) was another BIG NAPA CAB. Also from Merus was their '05 Merus Cab blended with 5% Petit Verdot & Malbec.
