The other night we drank a fantastic bottle of 1996 Fleury Champagne , $55 Terry Theise Selections (I guess Fleury used to be part of the Theise book) that I bought from this store. just can't see it. VINO | MONDAY, JANUARY 5, 2009 Screwcaps, scores, riesling, the Loire, Cali cab: John Gilman part two Cornas is another town that I see as at the beginning of a renaissance- it was kind of left behind when all the hoopla reached Hermitage and Côte-Rôtie in the late 1980s and 1990s- but there are some really good growers working here now, the most famous being Thierry Allemand.
