Winemaker's notes: Producer Background: Hugel owns a 65-acre estate planted largely to Riesling and Gewürztraminer, with small plots of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. All combine to make this a seriously delicious Gewurztraminer. | WINE TASTING GUY OCTOBER 18, 2008 What a Day! 2 Wine Tastings!! final treat was a dessert wine from Alsace. The Domaine Bott-Geyl Sonnenglanz Grand Cru Alsace dessert wine, made of Pinot Gris (and apparently given a 98 by Robert Parker) was a deliciously sweet treat. An Oregon Pinot from cult producer Peter Rosback, but not from the Willamette Valley. 2004 Adelsheim Pinot Noir Bryan Creek Vineyard , $48. 2005 Belle Pente Willamette Valley Pinot Gris , $17.
