Taste was more cherry and mocha and the finish was long and zesty with pepper and spice. Last Minute Passover Wines

Herzog Alexander Valley Spec. and bought some things that I haven't tasted. I was dragging my feet because I've been hating everything and was confused. had one terrific bottle of 3 Celliers Chateauneuf du Pape @ $44 but the second one stunk. He is here to escort us to the winery and introduce us to the winemaker Alexander Etcheverry and his wines. It is a quaint vineyard and after a tour of the ferementation vessels we have our tasting in the cellar, surrounded by oak barrels. Alexander joins his.
