Before now I have never tasted Gewurztraminer. The second is more what I was expecting in a Gewurztraminer. This was a Finger Lakes Gewurztraminer from White Springs Farm Estate Winery in Geneva, NY. The grapes used in the blend are Riesling, Cayuga White, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Grigio. My first taste of Gewurztraminer was from White Springs and I'm sure of picking up more whites at the December " Deck the Halls " weekend.
