SLAKED | SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 2008 Vacation Whites, etc. The 1997 Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello is a sometimes gorgeous wine. Although $37 is a lot for a bottle of wine, when others are selling the same bottle for NO LESS THAN $45 and as much as $70 the $37 price tag doesn't seem so bad.
