On its eastern edge it borders Chambertin Clos de Beze, Ruchottes Chambertin and Mazis- Chambertin. This was my favorite of the Gevrey 1er Crus. road separates it from Mazis- Chambertin. MORE >> -
WINE TASTING GUY | TUESDAY, MARCH 25, 2008 Skurnik Tasting - my favorites (finally) My favorite of the table was the 2005 Marc Roy "Cuvee Alexandrine" Gevrey- Chambertin which had nice (but not over the top) fruit, goos flinty minerality and earthiness and a very nice mouth feel.
