SLAKED | THURSDAY, OCTOBER 2, 2008 2005 Kapcsandy State Lane Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon * Everyone loves this wine: Cellartracker , Robert Parker , Wine Spectator , Stephen Tanzer, Alder Yarrow. No interest in huge, in-your-face wines that lack a mid-palate or structure. and there's very little I can add to the discussion, except to say that if you have a bottle or find a bottle, you should try it now. SLAKED | SUNDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2008 Wine Spectator's California Wine Experience I have a love/hate relationship with Wine Spectator. routinely disagree with their wine scores (they gave Ridge Vineyards Monte Bello 2005 only 85 points - WTF are they thinking?!) Araujo Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley "Eisele Vineyard" 2005 * Smoky garnet color. That being said, a delicious wine. Very fine. MORE >> -
VIGNA UVA VINO | SATURDAY, APRIL 5, 2008 Rocca Delle Macie Roccato 1997 IGT Supertuscan Their attention to quality and detail put them at the forefront of Italian wines. This dry red Super Tuscan Italian wine is made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Sangiovese Rosso. They're barriqued separately, the Cabernet for 15 months and the Sangiovese for 12 months.
