Tags: Cellar Selection 2004 3 stars Russian River Valley Sonoma Rumor had it that disagreements with co-owner(?) | WINE TASTING GUY APRIL 30, 2008 Polaner tasting standouts began in a French table area and tried some Sancerres (made from Sauvignon Blanc), some white Burgundys (made from Chardonnay) and some white blends. He wants his wines to show a nice purity of fruit (Chardonnay) and as such uses large 600 liter (mostly neutral) barrels. Made from Chardonnay, this wine had an exploding bouquet. | | | | | | | | | -
EAST VILLAGE WINE GEEK | WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29, 2007 Gettin' A little Chile in South Carolina This guy had some money and was looking to diversify with vineyards all over Spain as well as California's Sonoma Coast and Russian River Valley. Oak is great but it has a purpose and if that purpose is over used then we are forced to start coming up with acronyms like ABC (Anything But Chardonnay). I have been away for a bit. MORE >> -
SLAKED | SUNDAY, AUGUST 10, 2008 Vacation Whites, etc. My previous experience with this wine, at a Wine Spectator tasting in 2007, was phenomenal.
