Latour a Pomerol I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I haven't been overly impressed with the 2005 Bordeaux I've tasted to date. St. Jean de Lavaud [1.1] Lalande de Pomerol The best Lalande de Pomerol I have ever tasted, and maybe a perfect wine for this region. Plum purple. Raspberry leaf, musk, and lush flowers on the nose. Good burnt wood note, black licorice, strawberry and raspberry jam. Medium body with a dry, crushed raspberry finish and dusty tannin. Awesome | | |
