BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 2007 Notes From the Dressner Real Wine Attack Tasting 2005 Eric Texier Vins de Pays O Pale , $16 - This is a sweet wine made entirely from Viognier grapes. 2005 Marechal Pommard La Chaniere , $50 - who would have thunk it? 2005 Desvignes Morgon Javernieres , $21 - Cru Beaujolais from Desvignes, always good. My past includes exactly one Jura red ( 2002 Pierre Overnoy Arbois Pupillin - my notes say that I didn't like it) and a couple of Crémants - love 'em. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2007 Winter Whites NV Domaine de Montbourgeau Cr é mant de Jura , (about $18, Prospect Wine Shop, moderate availability). Recommended to me by the always reliable Amy Louise Pommier at Prospect Wine Shop , it is 100% Chardonnay. And usually that means red wine.
