BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | THURSDAY, JANUARY 25, 2007 Following up on a Buying Strategy Idea 2005 is supposed to be an incredible vintage, and from the little I have tasted so far, it's not hype - the wines are amazing. There are a few in my cellar, and I agonize over opening them because they are so special and so dear in price. MORE >> -
BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, OCTOBER 28, 2008 Dressner Portfolio Tasting Notes In honor of their 20th anniversary, the Dressner folk dug into the cellar and set out a load of wines from their inaugural vintage. The 2006's from Chidaine are quite good, although if you're used to the 2005's they will seem light. The 2006's are probably typical and the 2005's are probably extra rich and intense. MORE >> -
SLAKED | FRIDAY, JULY 11, 2008 Craft Restaurant NYC 2005 Dom. There's very little information about this domaine online, but from what I can gather, the proprietors have 32 acres in Burgundy (no small amount) with parcels in Gevrey- Chambertin, Chambolle-Musigny, Morey St.-Denis, I recently reconnected with an old high school friend on that greatest killer of time: Facebook.
