BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 14, 2009 Domaine des Croix, Beaune The first vintage at the Domaine was 2005 and the wines were well received by Allen Meadows at Burghound, most of them scoring in the high 80's to low 90's. drank the 2005 Bourgogne twice in early 2008 and thought it was excellent. WINE TASTING GUY | SUNDAY, AUGUST 3, 2008 Chambers Street wines follow up On this day however Xavier Nady was not done and a 3-run homer plus some other clutch hitting and the Yankees scored 6 in the bottom of the 8th to retake the lead, 14-9, that would prove to ultimately be the final score. BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE | TUESDAY, MARCH 27, 2007 Notes From the Dressner Real Wine Attack Tasting decided that for this tasting I would score wines from 1-5 with 5 being my favorites, 1 indicating a wine that I just did not like. 2005 Eric Texier Vins de Pays O Pale , $16 - This is a sweet wine made entirely from Viognier grapes. 2005 Marechal Pommard La Chaniere , $50 - who would have thunk it? Impossible in this venue. MORE >>
