JEALOUSY! JEALOUSY! Dull, short. | BROOKLYN GUY LOVES WINE NOVEMBER 3, 2009 More from the Dressner Tasting loved the "entry-level" 2008 Muscadets by Luneau Papin, particularly the 2008 Luneau-Papin Clos des Allées , about $15. liked François Pinon 's 2008's even more than I did the 2007's at this early stage. The 2008 Clos du Tue-Boeuf Cheverny Gravotte , about $24, is 100% Pinot Noir from 30 year old wines on chalky soil. | ALICE FEIRING DECEMBER 14, 2008 Looking for that Magical Mood Altering Taste FYI, my last bottles were drunk in the Rhone at George the Greek in 2004, pick up THE BOOK Which brings me to other night when I was barside at Balthazar comforting a friend. wanted the Pepiere muscadet, but they only 1/2 carafe it and she was hankering for vodka. Marc Ollivier's Muscadet's at Domaine de la Pépière were great, as expected. I went to the Polaner Spring Portfolio Tasting today at Gotham Hall in Manhattan. But of course I missed some great stuff.
