Nice dry and fruity with a long finish of slate and citrus. Now looking forward to 4 day trip to New York City and some Long Island Merlots and some more Hudson Valley wines. Doing so seemed almost impossible. SLAKED | MONDAY, JUNE 16, 2008 Seven Days Seven Wines Channing Daughters Mudd Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2007 North Fork of Long Island * A pale golden hued sauvignon with nice grassy hints and citrus, but mostly what you find here is depth of sweet fruit characteristic, to me, of Mudd's Vineyards.
